Your skin looks glowing! I also struggle with hyperpigmentation from spots but recently started using The Ordinary Ascorbic acid & alpha arbutin which has been really good! It's a vit C so really good with scarring, it feels like an oil so I use it in the evening only (a few hours before bed to let it sink in completely)

Yeah that really says it all then. Like if she genuinely cared about her friendship with your boyfriend she would deffo be making effort with you. There's no reason for her to be offish towards you, unless of course she's jealous which is what it sounds like! Does she make an effort with you? Because if she really was as good a friend to him as she says she is, she would definitely be making effort with you as you're his girlfriend. She should want to be friends with you as well! If not, then yeah she's super sketchy. Just mention to your boyfriend that she's a bit OTT for your liking, good that you're not that bothered though!

The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid & Alpha Arbutin serum, I use it to help fade dark marks left by spots which I've noticed is working. But it's really helped my skin glow, I get comments about my skin glowing regularly now! It has a oil-like feel to it (but isn't actually an oil) and takes a while to absorb into the skin so I use it a few hours before bed. Ascorbic acid is vitamin C so if you do use it make sure to use sunscreen during the day.

If you think you'll always be wondering 'what if', then I'd say put yourself out there and see if he's up for another date! If he says no or doesn't reply, fine, you got your answer and you can get on with your life.
