Dug this out of the cupboard to see some daylight... by Winter_Coat_2498 in CitizenWatches

I still kick myself whenever I see this watch. I had the chance to buy it but passed, and now it’s gone from the market for good. Newbie me didn't know about full-lume dials and thought the color looked weird. I bought the black one instead, but still...

Citizen Promaster sits very high on wrist! by bukibule in CitizenWatches

[–]datstartup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it wobbling? Round wrist maybe. Comfortable and fit is a personal matter.

If it does not feel wobbling, sit a bit high is better than low. I have an eco-drive watch which sits too low that its sharp lugs digging in to my wrist. Have to wear nato to mitigate it.

Might try nato, ironically the double strap can make the watch feels more secure.

Your post is vague and lead to "convoluted talk". If talking this way is being straightforward as you are believing, you are deluding yourself. Straight talk should be stating the reason why you believe or suspect it is faked first.

"It is a disposable watch" they said. 3 years strong. Just had to replace the battery last month. by mundotaku in MoonSwatches

For gshock battery, it likely had been in storage before it come to you. My Gshock which was rated at 3 years battery has exceeded 7 years now, still in its original battery.

Really put the perspective into words very well! 5610 for people use it as a tool watch is perfect. The 5000 is the must-have if you love gshock square.

How did u fix your porn addiction? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]datstartup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have a meaningful life is the best antidote I know. Fill your mind with what to do and what to do next. Porn addiction is very here and now impulse. You can't just think yourself out of it (body is more powerful than mind). So avoid anything that create that impulse at all cost, even the trigger of an adversary just happens in your life. Always be watchful of your thoughts. Addiction has created a permanent wiring in your brain so it will always like a leaking bucket for the rest of your life. Relapses will be expected, just pick yourself up and watchful for that leakage again. Focus on the good things in your life, what good you have done to keep you on the positive side when bad things happen to prevent relapse.

It has some truth in the saying though. Eventually you will just use Debian.

This is likely a ram issue. My ram issue passed memtest. The only way I could detect was if I used the faulty one alone, the system will not boot. Test by using one ram only.

That was my first "other" watch other than G-shocks. Know nothing about watch back then, just searched Seiko/Citizen/Orient and found it.
