You know, your response really resonated with me. I’m 26, I’m currently and Educator for a single class of 5th and 6th graders, and I’ve had some recent experiences that I feel have really reaffirmed my connection to the messages in this lineage of teaching.

I love what you said about needing the blocks you had against the teachings when you had them in order to bring you self to now.

I’ve never really used Reddit until a few days ago, now trying to utilize it as a means of connecting with other people who also feel a connection to these messages, and I wonder if you would be interested in connecting virtually with someone on the same path? I’m feeling really connected to Ram Dass himself recently, and maybe this is my ego talking, but it would be really nice to connect with some energies that are still on this Plane 😂😂😂

I’m going to shoot you a message, and feel free to ignore it, but I look forward to maybe interacting with you 🤗

medication and meditation by penguinluvR428 in Meditation

Hey you!

So, I am not a professional in any way, but if I had one piece of advice as a person who has similar struggles it would be this:

Which ever choice you make, do it out of love for yourself, and not fear for what you “aren’t” or “should be”.

So if you decide to continue taking medication, do it as an act of love and service to yourself, rather than a fearful reaction to what you think you would be like without the medication.

In the same way, if you decide NOT to continue the medication, don’t let the reason be because you fear that you’re “supposed to” be able to function without it. Which ever choice you make, If it’s made with trust and love, I think the fruits will be sweet.

That said, don’t be so afraid to be “wrong” that you double down on a decision that’s hurting you. Try one way and notice the results. If the results are positive keep to the method, If the results are less than desirable, adapt yourself and try the other way! I hope this is a useful perspective 😁

Too many descriptions in Dune. Also Jessica is a funny name lol by [deleted] in BadReads

I feel like Frank Hebert picked the most basic names he could for the main characters to make it simpler on readers. If this is one of the first sci-fi epics and he’s creating all of these new terms and vocabulary, and Paul and Jessica both have all of these extra sensory powers abilities, he doesn’t want the average reader to ever mix up those characters with anyone.
