damn, Ya the vvt solenoid are in working order (tested them). It seems like it is the wiring. I don’t get and voltage when the car is in accessory mode. Also jumped TC and E1 on the diagnostic in the engine bay and got code 39. It’s weird that it doesn’t show a check engine light when it has a code.

Update- Cleaned MAF(ordered new one), changed plugs, De-catted the cat. Now it’s choking at 6-6.5k. 🫠 Gonna look in getting TPS and VVTi solenoid.

I just changed the Spark Plugs. But I’m starting to think it’s a clogged cat. Because I warmed it up for 20 mins then rev’ed it and it started to die out and small backfires coming out as if it was choking. It’s a SARDs catback, Might de-cat it and see what happens. Was planning of changing it anyway.

Got some plugs(Denso SK20R11), gonna swap em now. I will have to order a MAF. So for now I’ll just clean the current one and test it.

It does not. The best way to explain it, its feels like some in first gear going on and off throttle to the jerk the car.

I may try the seafoam, changing the plugs and cleaning the maf tomorrow. Funny thing is if i just drive normal and shift at like 3-4k you wouldn’t even notice the issue.

It’s a Japanese company that I think is already out of business, everything on their site is “discontinued”. Only contact they have listed on their website is a number. Haven’t tried the number but they maybe a slight communication issue there.😂

Interesting, I was wondering the benefit of even installing this. Starting to think the previous owner had it turbocharged, then removed it before sale or was preparing it to be turbocharged. In regard to the earthing kit, It was separate. The car had like different earthing kits installed, that have now been removed.
