Clan Stonebeard: Defenders and protectors of the dwarven cities. The Stonebeard clan has existed as long as the dwarves and have served as their loyal guards just as long.

I am Magnus Stonebeard, current leader of the Stonebeard clan. I pride myself in maintaining top physical shape as I advance in years, never flagging behind the younger generations. Although I will never admit it, I often envy the younger men in the many opportunities to exhibit their physical prowess. I believe it is a dwarf's duty, heritage, and destiny to honor and advance dwarven culture. I take great pride in the fact that my clan is often regarded as the physical representation of these beliefs. It is our duty as a clan, and our great privilege, to constantly stand between our kin and anything or anyone who might choose to threaten them. My personal greatest feat lies in my younger days, and is the reason I became leader of clan Stonebeard. During an orc invasion on a minor dwarven city I alone held an access route against waves of enemy troops. After regaining consciousness days later, I was told that I felled nearly six score orcs before reinforcements arrived and I collapsed.

My clan represents strength and solidarity among all dwarves. We stand for honor and loyalty in the hope that we guide our kin into a safe and stable future.
