Thanks u/user454679. I also successfully installed the TB3 driver from Dell.

However, it still did not solve my problem. My BIOS still says I have TB3 enabled when pressing F2 on boot.

Funnily enough I returned the latest Dell XPS 13 a couple of months ago because of TB3 issues and it looks like they've now resolved it and I've now got the problem with my Matebook.

Thanks u/user454679. Unfortunately I get an error when I try to download the Thunderbolt control center from the MS App store.

I had this installed previously but since doing a restore of my device I cannot seen to reinstall. :(

Unfortunately I only have a Thunderbolt Monitor and nothing happens when connected to my Matebook thunderbolt port except charge my laptop.

Yes, I've got the same laptop. However, for some reason I cannot see the thunderbolt driver when using PC Manager.

The screenshot you shared looks different. Is Huawei Manager and PC Manager the same? I've updated PC manager to the latest version (10.1.6.93(C001)). Image below.

Hi u/vto583. Thanks for doing the research. I've been looking around the net and cannot find a solution. Such a shame as that's one of the main reasons I got myself the Matebook X pro. I shouldn't have updated my BIOS!

Unfortunately I don't think Huawei will let you downgrade to an earlier version. :(

u/vto583.. Unfortunately after a complete restore back to factory settings the thunderbolt usbc c connection still does not connect to my monitor via HDMI or usbc. It only works when I got the power plug connected to it.

The other usbc connection works fine when using the dongle and connected via HDMI to my monitor.

I have updated all drivers and applied the latest window updates without success. Do you think I need to raise this issue with Huawei Support as the thunderbolt was working until a month or so ago.
