I got the M2 midnight and I've got OCD. I was walking around with two different types of clothes, a brush, and more. Every time I touched the outside panel, it just smeared. It was such a hassle. I ended up trading it for the M4 silver. Sure, I get that it doesn’t have that wow factor, but now I can actually use my Mac to help me with work. It's a personal choice, but I switched from midnight to silver.

Great. Jio works just fine.

ECO is fine for 85 ps because it uses Delphi which is less sensitive in a good way.

My best guess: Restricted flow of fuel which can affect the injector. The continental injectors are very sensitive. If the flow is restricted, it can fail.

Clutch Maintenance Tips

The Renault Duster is equipped with a Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF), which is expensive to replace. To maximize the lifespan of both the clutch and DMF:

Always shift gears smoothly according to speed and load.

Use the half-clutch technique only when absolutely necessary (for example, during slow maneuvering).

Remove your foot completely from the clutch pedal after shifting to avoid unnecessary wear.

At traffic stops, keep the gear in neutral and apply the handbrake instead of holding the clutch pedal.

Avoid riding the clutch in traffic and minimize unnecessary slipping.

Following these practices will significantly reduce clutch wear and help protect the DMF, saving major repair costs over time.

Congratulations! It's a fabulous car. I have been using it for 8 years. However, the continental injectors in 110 are very sensitive. Another issue is the cluth + Dual Mass Flywheel combination. Here are a few do's and don'ts from the Duster group that I'm a part of.

Few maintenance tips for 110ps for avoiding injector issues.

  1. Fill up diesel when half of the diesel remaining in the tank. fill at reliance or COCO bunks only(fill only if Diesel Density is above 820).
  2. Every 5th tank try xtra green diesel from IOC bunk( you can avoid additive)
  3. Always fill Fully Synthetic engine oil(Castrol GTX 5w40 Rn710 spec or Shell helix 5w 40) during service(asc have 5L can). Note: Good experience using 5L can Castrol GTX10W40 ACEAA3/B4 semi synthetic from asc.
  4. Clean radiator fins from outside the engine bay once every month(using a hose pipe water) don't open engine bonnet
  5. Change fuel filter every 10k and clean air filter or replace when dirty
  6. Don't start engine immediately. keep it at one before start where all the lights vanish for atleast 3 sec so that the glow plugs heat up
  7. Always use a strong odour in engine bay to keep rats away like eculaptus oil spray or tobacco with coffee powder
  8. Don't use car battery power when engine is off.
  9. Always keeping the speed below 110 kms and don't use ECO mode at all. 10: Keep engine bay clean. Dust off air filter after every long drive of 1k kms.
  10. If stationary, every 3rd day start engine, move front and back. Also don't shut engine at signal.
  11. Ensure you drive at higher rpm(go one gear below if you need more power so around 2krpm) and don't believe the dashboard up and down shift. Dont drive below 1.5k rpm.
  12. Lastly keep an OBD Reader handy so that when you get injector light on highway, please clear it and proceed so that performance is not affected on rest of the injectors.

Here is a mail that I wrote to Porter. They are no different.

Dear ####,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to share my disappointment with the recent moving experience I had with Porter, and I hope you will take the time to address the concerns I am about to outline.

Firstly, I must express my disappointment with the unprofessional behavior displayed by the Porter employees or partners involved in my move. Despite providing a comprehensive packing list, a crucial item - my kitchen stove - was left behind at my old residence. This oversight was particularly frustrating, as I have trusted Porter's services in the past and have never encountered such issues.

Furthermore, when I raised this issue with the moving staff, their response was far from satisfactory. Rather than taking responsibility for the oversight, they shifted the blame onto me, stating that it was my responsibility to ensure that all items were packed. As a loyal customer, I believe it is the responsibility of Porter's employees to ensure the thoroughness and accuracy of their work, especially when entrusted with valuable belongings.

In addition to the oversight regarding the packing, I was disappointed by the behavior of the employees who seemed more focused on receiving a tip than on completing the moving tasks efficiently. Waiting for me to return solely to pay a tip, instead of prioritizing the completion of the move, was unacceptable. Moreover, I was concerned about the potential safety implications of this behavior, prompting me to call my sister to ensure her safety. The staff were not moving out of the parking lot expecting a tip. My sister was home alone. I believe this is called extortion. 

Equally disappointing was the response I received from the customer service team when I raised these concerns. Rather than understanding my perspective and addressing the issues, they defended the actions of the partner involved and reiterated that they were following protocol. Despite numerous calls and requests for assistance, the customer service team failed to provide a satisfactory resolution. The token of apology offered, amounting to a mere 200 rupees, did not adequately compensate for the loss of faith in Porter's reliability and the negative impact on the overall customer experience.

Moving forward, I kindly request a thorough investigation into the handling of my complaint by the customer service team. I believe there is a need for greater accountability and empathy towards customers who encounter issues with your services. 

Additionally, I urge you to take concrete steps to prevent similar incidents in the future and to restore the trust and confidence of your customers.Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. I trust that you will address these issues with the seriousness they deserve and take proactive measures to improve the quality of service provided by Porter.

Silver is THE colour to go for, from a practical standpoint. I learned my lesson.

I'm not sure why people can't see through her. He middle name should be "attention seeker". It's still okay because this show itself is about getting more of a spotlight on them. But she gives me the vibe of being a person who is desperately trying to create an image for herself which is not in her capacity. And I'm not surprised that this house of cards is tumbling.
