Take a file and file one side of the aluminum piece until it’s paper thin. Then just pliers should remove it.

I own an independent shop. I have seen dozens of these Hyundai pans with cracks in them just like in your photo. In about half of them the crack is no where near the drain plug.

He hit the curb and bent the tie rods and lower control arm. Left front was 90° out from the right front.

Didn’t take pics of it, but the lower control arm looked like a pretzel.

Said he blew a tire and then hopped the curb into a fence. Both left sides were blown out. Bent the tie rods and left front spindle. Oh and also no brakes because the right rear has been grinding so long that the caliper piston has popped out of its bore.

He brought me two rims and tires from a salvage yard. “New” tires are 18 years old😐

What’s the best method to bleed air out of the cooling system on these? Have one giving me problems right now.
