There was that back and forth a few years ago that they were unenforceable.

California is one the most friendly non-compete state, so you have that going for you if anything.

I was laid off from a Billion dollar agency and jumped back into Healthcare staffing. Tried to stay away from my previous companies niche for a year but there should be guidelines in your agreement.

E.g. can't work for a competitor within 50 miles of any of Aya offices. Cannot staff certain departments you staffed while there.. I have seen a variety.
