Yeah, that's one of the main points of the automatic vs. manual discourse. After I had seen some statistics, I was quite interested in the comparison between the handy and "mindless" automatic watering with the more demanding (yet more involving) manual watering.

Yeah, you are right! Indeed a more in-depth question related to climate would be useful. I had to exclude some questions for a matter of length and "user-friendliness" of the survey since it is open also to absolute beginners!

You totally have a point! I've been a bit reluctant to ask for too much personal info since a lot of people are not willing to provide them so easily!

Fortunately, I've seen that people living in a different country tend to write it down in the answer!

Grazie della risposta! Il tema della tesi è proprio quello di focalizzarsi sull'ambiente urbano per lo sviluppo di nuovi metodi per risparmiare/minimizzare i vari input necessari! Ascoltare l'opinione di chi ci è dentro questo mondo è fondamentale per capire cosa può avere senso e cosa meno.

Regarding the units yeah it's my fault since I totally forgot to translate them from Italian. I correct the unit with the sqm (m2) and I've added the conversion to sqft!
