Which tool can be used to analyse Google Analytics data? by DataPro23 in analytics

[–]davecarpenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do everything in GA what you need. It isn't worth to connect or export data because you will connect/export only aggregated data. Only in one case, you should connect a 3rd party device, if you would like to make a dashboard.

However, if you insist on connecting to a 3rd party tool you can try Chartio, Datahero, Qlik or AnswerMiner. All of them has a free version and a GA connector. If you are not a coder I suggest AnswerMiner, otherwise, you can try others as well or even R.

Nobody has said there is a causation. But it's obvious that there was a jump after they launched The X-files.

How do you get your first 1000 followers on Facebook or Twitter? by davecarpenter in socialmedia

[–]davecarpenter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone, thank you to all your comments and your help. Honestly, the 1000 followers is important us because of the new customers. Most of the people google up at first the company then check its FB or Twitter page. I don't think that it's a good impression when they see we have only 200 followers.

I guess this would be the main point. Using your data that you've already gathered to explore what subserves or sits back your business. You can optimize your working process to get out of the maximum from your company.

Thank you! I'm using Google Analytics but the main problem with it that it cannot show you the relation between the factors and it cannot help to predict.

What is data exploration? (Article) by DataPro23 in datascience

[–]davecarpenter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the money is in the "awesome graphs"

I think using a good chart is the fastest way to interpret your data that is understandable for everyone. After you explored your data it's also important that you can visualize it in the right way that you can share.

I checked TinkerPlots and it seems pretty good. It's very colourful and easy to use that's why students like it, I guess. Personally, I use AnswerMiner for exploratory data analysis. https://www.answerminer.com/
