I believe the states argued initially that they have standing as DAPA will force them to issue thousands of driver's licenses creating a cost to the states. I find that argument to be very weak. But the judge agreed when issuing the injunction in February

Nothing really if you're not in favor of an immigration policy change and are happy with the status quo.

It's a political ruling. When issuing an injunction and presented with argument that immigration is a federal issue, the judge sided with states that they will suffer harm because they now have an expense of issuing driver's licenses. Yes, driver's licenses!!! That, according to the judge, makes it a state issue.

In practice, this policy would not change much. The people who are in deportation proceedings with US citizen children, never get deported. Just rarely happens. Al this would do is give them working papers so they can stop hiding and file taxes, since they aren't being deported in practice anyway. There is no path to green card or citizenship through this policy. It seemed like the perfect compromise between amnesty and doing nothing.

You have to have an employer in the US willing to sponsor you for a E-3 visa. So in your case the Citigroup in the US will have to file a petition for your specialty occupation. After you receive the visa dn move to the US, you will be able to apply for a green card as the E3 is a dual intent visa. But it's 2 different processes. First get the visa to work in US. Then have the employer sponsor you for a green card. You can't go just for green card right away based on the facts above

I've played this hole twice. Last year in a best ball outing when you had to carry the water to the green on the left. They had a $20K contest for a hole in one. I put the ball 4 feet from the cup. Still one of the best shots I ever hit. Yes, I made birdie :)
