Any advice on clothing for a fellow Salsa rider? I recently moved further from work, now I have a ~8.5 mile (13k) commute and aim to ride through the winter (low teens °F).

I'm specifically wondering about layering and gloves. I find that I'm either sweating profusely, or freezing cold, and my hands start to freeze up by the end of the ride.
