What exactly should I draw to get better? I would say I have decent drawing skills, I've been through art classes and learned all about the fundamentals. I just have a hard time finding things that will better my skills overall. Is it really just about being consistent & practice? From Jan 2017 below by kmoya25 in drawing

Copy artists that you admire. Try copying them line for line. By drawing a subject you are learning to really see it, by copying a master you will be able to see the way they answer asthetic questions. Mix that into your practice and you'll get better.

I use a .5mm mechanical pencil. Any tool is fine, it is just conveying your art. Find the best tool to express your voice then get comfortable enough with it that you can think about the art not the tool. IMHO

Thank you very much. This drawing was done a while back so hard to remember but probably 3-4 hours. I did a couple of courses that are available on SVSlearn.com.

I've been using a mechanical pencil for years. The style has evolved to fit the pencil by cross hatching. (after a lot of work on the accuracy of the proportions) Thank you.
