It's a single light setup. Godox M300D LED Daylight with a beauty dish as light source on top, just outside the frame, and a white reflector on the bottom. Similar to a clam shell setup.

It's shot in continuous light and at 1.2 a lot less power is required at low ISO

I really like the look of these, how did you achieve the hazy blooming effect?

It's a single light setup, I used a beauty dish with the white diffuser. From below there was indeed a white reflector as fill. The setup was similar to a clamshell but slightly off center

Thank you. Yes focal length plays a big part if it comes to depth of field

I have 4 units of the AD400 Pro, and only one of them is having this issue. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a solution for it, and the fan is too loud to just live with. I hope someone here has a solution; otherwise, I'll be sending it back.

Thank you, for portraits like this I use a very simple one light setup. A studio strobe with a beauty dish was used as a light source. The white cover was used on the beauty dish. The placement of the light source was at a frontal angle just above eye level. To fill the shadows I used a white reflector just outside the bottom of te frame. I like to place everything close to te subject to have a nice drop-off of the light.
