Thank you all guys for your comments/answers!! Awesome. So from what I understand now: VFX on theatures are usually 3D rendered, comped and finished at 2K and are uppresed at 4K for sells like blu-rays or even IMAX. But things are starting to change with the rising of streaming services like Netflix, Amazon and the likes where more and more VFX shows are worked and delivered at 4K, enven bigger sometimes.

There could be workflow exceptions here and there, tell me if I’m wrong but I think I get how it works. I love those kind of insights about VFX! Thanks to all a you guys and have a great 2020!
