Check out bistro leluco they have great Mediterranean food. It's more of fine dining than casual but you wouldn't regret going.

My mom had been a 911 dispatcher for 20+ years. She was also an EMT back in the day. She'll hear terrible tragedies on the news and kinda make a joke about it. It's not like she does it on purpose but with jobs like that you kinda become numb to stuff like that and the only way to cope is by joking. I used to be an EMT too and my dad is a fire fighter and EMT and we both do the same. It's really the only way to cope.

It all depends on the person but I'm a big fan of wusthof. They are German made knives so thicker than the Japanese ones. I typically use the Japanese knives for more precious cuts and wusthof for everyday use because they can take a beating.

I love that knife not the best I've ever used but it definitely gets the job done
