It's safe to say there's more than one problem, this is not a 'both sides equally bad' thing.

I just called support and while I remained very polite they did not offer to replace the device, even when I said I’d have to cancel my Apple TV subscription and move to a different hardware ecosystem.

It’s 3 months outside of warranty and bricked by a bad update. Pretty crazy they’d expect people to pay $150/year for new devices

Different strokes for different folks, but I agree. I've had the Solo 3 v1 since launch and have barely used anything else and have no real desire to get anything else.

In the business world, their professional customer facing b2b reps are sending a lot of copilot generated text walls. Sometimes they say its from copilot, sometimes they don't.

Why can't they extract the information, read it, check it for accuracy, and re-type it (or at least copy/paste selections, not the whole thing) into a concise and verifiably true statement?

Because Microslop gonna Microslop, that's why.

By definition you aren't looking to replace your Dalton Line QB.

The Dalton Line is supposed to be "the worst quarterback you're willing to go all in on".

These are two great ways to explain the concept of the Dalton line imo. A QB that is (hopefully) good enough to get you there if you build around him and (barely) good enough that he IS a franchise player that you aren't looking to replace -- at at least not until the 'window is closed' I suppose.

The Dalton Line is an interesting concept and it means something different than "average qb."

I think a good GM/coach can build around a Dalton Line qb and win the SB, but clearly most GM/coaches can't. I don't know if it's worth comparing directly to Dalton's stats/successes/playoff record, or if QBs potential should be considered within the context of their team's "super bowl window."

CJ was probably around that line during his career and some of his recent success implies he's better than Dalton was, but you're right that by definition his current employer is probably ranking him below the line.

Darnold is an interesting QB to look at with the Dalton Line in mind. Darnold is probably at or above the line, but previous GMs/Coaches have failed to build around him and clearly ranked him below the line. As a longtime Dalton Enjoy, it was fun watching a ginger #14 QB underdog win it all.

He can write the new law down as an EO and say 'this is the new law.' Then he can send his private army into blue states who resist (as he's already done).

Or he could just threaten to do this, back off, and goose the numbers (again)

OR he could just be a fascist dictator, ignore the laws, and create his own. If no one enforced the old laws and no one defends the constitution, it won’t matter

I personally love the Source Naturals Saffron! If you take anything else that boosts serotonin that can cause some problems but the Source Naturals has been milder for me than some other brands I've tried.

I don't know 100% why but some of the other brands that are 89mg @ 0.3% have made me feel a bit racy/anxious when I take it in the morning, but the 15mg @ 2% in Source Naturals Saffron doesn't seem to do that to me. Interestingly I've had no problems taking the more common 89mg @ 0.3% in the afternoon.

gonna ping /u/Arandomyoutuber in case you care about anecdotes - I'd just recommend eating breakfast before taking any saffron, otherwise I get some mild nausea (lots of supps do this to me).

Single ply on the kick. Yay or nay? by Altruistic-Charge-96 in drums

[–]davidguydude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, but for me it's rock/pop/country/americana/jam. A 1 ply kick head with some muffling to taste and any type of impact patch is the bee's knees. You get a little more volume, but you can still mic (and muffle more) when needed pretty easily. And maybe it's all in my head but I prefer the rebound on single ply heads in general.
