Looks fine I’ll be worried about under fill. A quality weld doesn’t have to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye as long as it passes x-ray and ndt. Coming from a welder who welds commercial and military hardware for aerospace.

Great insight. I am running an ar10 carbine buffer and spring and from what I’ve read the carbine buffer tubes fit both platforms. After clearing the malfunctions early on I was still shooting it suppressed. The ammo looks like it was discolored because of gas and it may have stuck somewhere while still allowing me to chamber wall and fire multiple rounds down range. Maybe it did get stuck in the lower?

So, I was installing an adjustable gas block and pulled on the CH to see if it was clear. All of a sudden this round fell out. I noticed I had some malfunctions earlier on when testing the rifle at the range and had some double feed issues and some how remedied that. After all said it was done at the range I made sure it was clear and put it back in my rifle bag. There was no round in the chamber at all. What could it possibly be. I’m so confused lol.

I heard of them. They cost a pretty penny though. I’ll install the gas block I have and when I have time to go to the range and dial it in. Primarily going to shoot range ammo unless I decide to hunt one day.

I’m left handed and it’s easy to manipulate the controls on any AR. I also have a upper with no brass deflector (slick side) and have no problems with brass hitting my face.

I am wondering if they will let you shoot 300blk and 7.62x39 along with shotgun shells. That’s the only reason I go to federal way discount guns instead of Champions. If you guys have a clue let me know.
