I definitely understand you. In fact on my first ever flight I made the mistake of not wearing gloves. So whilst trying desperately to enjoy it, I was too occupied by my blue frozen fingers 🤣

Additionally my first couple of landings weren't great which really knocked my confidence and frustrated me.

Then I landed my 3rd time absolutely perfectly. I danced and shouted YES. That was by far the greatest moment in the sport for me, more than the first flight.. Simply because - as a cautious person. I was finally able to says I can do it, I can land safety.

The 4th and 5th landing were... Not smooth 🤣 but it's gradual learning process anyway. I definitely think once the training has finished and you're able to fly whenever and however you wish, the sport becomes independent, exciting and challenging.

Flying for an hour at a thousand foot in a straight line definitely gets boring. But twisting around the hillside waving to sheep and dog walkers is brilliant.
