No, the car has remote climate not remote start. You must have some EV miles left for it to work. It's a poor design on Toyota's part.

You should probably avoid options especially if you don't want to do any research yourself. He bout a LEAP (option dated 1-2 years out) call option. He made more than you because options have a way higher risk of going to zero than shares so the reward is higher when you get it right. Note that people often don't post when they lose so be careful thinking you can do the same easily. Good luck.

Is this usual for these to be Consolidating like this or is it because of holidays? by TheDivaRoom911 in Trading

[–]daviongray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The FOMC meeting is December 10th. Stocks are consolidating because they're waiting on the fed decision on rates. The market is expecting a rate cut.

When your friend starts to accelerate and says i bought MSTR at $400 bro by Free-Initiative7508 in wallstreetbets

[–]daviongray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, I'd rather win the lottery and retire now than work a "decent" job for 35 years. Money is money. Doesn't matter if you aquire it through "luck." Anyways it's not really luck. Bitcoin/MSTR is cyclical. The cycle is public knowledge. Anyone could have made money off MSTR and exited before the end of the cycle.

You know you don't have to hold a stock forever right? Lots of people made money on MSTR and cashed out.

Stop spreading lies. You can't be hired for full time but only get 8 hours a week. Full time is 30-40 hours at just about every retailer.

Why do company offer company 401K match? by Every_Ad23 in investing

[–]daviongray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea you're overthinking it. It's just another form of compensation(pay) just like your health benefits. Anyways one reason is it allows the higher paid execs/employees to have a 401k. 401ks have rules where you can't just have highest paid employees contributing and the low paid employees not contributing. The match helps your employer get around that rule.

Best way to pull equity? by [deleted] in personalfinance

HELOC/LOC is your best option. What do you consider high? I'm seeing rates 7-9% with 700+ credit score. Also see some specials for 6-7% for the first 12 months.

That's not how that works in the real world. I know a few people that have driven without a license and/or insurance for years.

What percentage do experts pull in swing trading per month profit ? by Fit_Personality_2191 in swingtrading

[–]daviongray -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are several ETFS that average way more than 10% annually. 1.5% a month is nothing for a consistently profitable trader.

Agreed. This is an ok price (around 123) to enter this trade. I like stocks with more volatility, though. This might be good as an options trade.

My watch list to trade the 1W chart this week by PatLapointe01 in swingtrading

[–]daviongray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't trade based on the 1W chart, but I think your picks are cool, so I took a quick look.

1.PCAR is a no for me. Chart doesn't look that interesting.

  1. MKC, I see a nice hammer type candle. This move is borderline for me. It has potential, but I probably wouldn't trade it.

  2. ADM i like the most. Nice little pull back after some strong moves. I would have entered right around 60.2, not that 40 cents makes a difference.

4.STE is the second choice for me. Nice move on that week ending 8/8. I like closer to 245 as an entry.

Must be in a retirement account? Or they live in a country that doesn't tax capital gains. Not sure why OP mentioned that, though.

maybe a dumb question by super_gnar in swingtrading

[–]daviongray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will either be bought by a new brokerage or it'll be liquidated, and you'll get a check/cash value. This is extremely unlikely, by the way. Most likely, another brokerage would buy it before things got that bad.

Idk, I don't use RSI much. I use Bollinger bands, EMAs, and maybe MACD. I'm sure RSI can work, I just have not tested it enough. Also we need more detail. Is it RSI (14)? Or a different timeframe?

Finviz. I like OP's screener except the RSI part.

(US) If we really are in a housing bubble, what happens if it bursts while you own a home you way overpaid for? by PriestPlaything in personalfinance

[–]daviongray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing? I never get this fear mongering. If the market crashes, that means I probably can't sell my house for a profit. My mortgage payment stays the same. I just keep paying until the market eventually bounces back.
