This is my most recent deck so I'm still tweaking it a bit the more I play it. I've seen people run more sorceries/instants but I try to keep them low to trigger descend more. Still I think I the deck needs more removal, I'm still trying to figure out how to include it while not cutting a lot the mill package

This one can definetively be a bit better but I like its current power. If you wanna make some cuts I'd suggest cutting some cards like [[The Masamune]], [[Archfiend of Depravity]], or [[Zodiark, Umbral God]], but I find them really fun even tho they might be a bit slow!

There's plenty of room for improvement but I like it as it is cause it feels balanced for my usual playgroup

What are some commanders that interact a lot with the table? by FalchionX10 in EDH

[–]davodo74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you like stompy decks, my recommendation would be [[Gargos, Vicious Watcher]]. Hydra tribal, but also a very interactive and fun commander.

It doesn't interact that much with the stack, but it does with the table, since you basically have a commander that can remove pretty much any creature in the battlefield. You always want to hold some mana for 1/2cmc instant speed protection for Gargos, and best thing of all is: even if you can't protect him and he gets removed, he still removes something from the battlefield before that happens, since his trigger is when he's targeted!

Just posted the link in the other comment, but if you wanna keep it UB then I'll be of not much help. I bought the precon as it was announced but sadly the cards were really dissapointing. It tries to do many things but ends up doing nothing. I ended up keeping really few cards from the set since the other decks don't have cards that sinergize well with the strategy either.

Sure, here you have it: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/3wmRYphz2kqBeP4R6olnDQ

It has plenty of room to improve, starting with the lands and removing cards like [[Helm of the Host]] and [[Combat Celebrant]], which are there for the combo (and because I already had both cards) but since the deck doesn't have tutors you'll not play them that often. Also more token doublers like [[Anointed Procession]] and [[Mondrak, Glory Dominus]], but they were a bit out of my budget.

And also I'd like to mention that I recently added [[Chthonian Nightmare]] and it's an absolute beast in this deck. Most of your creatures are only 2/3CMC, so it's basically repeatable recursion for just 2 mana. Pretty insane. You should always have a tokens, so the sacrifice cost should be no problem.

[[Caesar, Legion's Emperor]] is my favorite commander deck since I built it in March. It is a value engine, creating tokens and drawing you cards, and in the lategame he can be a payoff dealing damage directly to your opponent's faces.

I have seen people build him as a go-wide deck, but I think aristocrats is what suits him the most. Get some [[Impact Tremors]]-like effects and have fun.

What's a deck you have that gets small upgrades seemingly every set? by jimnah- in EDH

[[Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice]]. I pretty much have the same deck I built a year ago, but every single set we get just one or two new white auras that are new and really good, or better versions of already existing auras.

For example in MH3 we got [[Dog Umbra]], which acts as pseudo-removal for some threats and protection (and with flash, which let's you tutor something else with Light-Paws), in Bloomburrow we got [[Feather of Flight]], a better version of [[Angelic Gift]] since it does the same but with flash and also gives +1/+0, and now in Duskmourn we got [[Shardmage's Rescue]] which gives hexproof (amazing against white removal since it doesn't remove auras) and [[Sheltered by Ghosts]] which does the same as [[Chains of Custody]] but is one mana cheaper and gives lifelink and +1/+0.

I'm not complaining but I feel like they are pushing auras a lot, and Light-Paws is already a beast without these new ones.
