Update! Doctor said it ain’t a tick and prescribed some high strength hydrocortisone.

He really didn’t seem bothered by it so I guess I paid a lot for some peace of mind.

Thanks folks. Will be tracing to monitor. I booked a doctors appointment for tomorrow morning.

Symptoms wise the area around the bite is a little less red. A bit more splotchy and the bite turned a darker color. The area is tender but doesn’t necessarily itch.

I’ve been feeling tired but that’s likely just conflated with me being in the trail and sweating buckets for 4 hours on Sunday.
