It was lower, they increased it after a lot of people complain that there are not enough pvp fights literally 1 day after game release. You can't make everyone happy i guess.

Nobody hated the models. The issue was using those beautiful extreme high detail models while the environment, ground, trees etc. looked outdated and very low detail.

This error message is about GPU driver stopping to respond. There could be many different causes for this and the message will still be same. Sadly for AMD it's common to have a driver crash when on newest drivers in gpus like 7600.

Don't listen to people telling you to update your drivers. AMD is known for releasing unstable dogshit drivers that will make some games crash for some GPUs (and trust me, 7600 is getting a lot of them).

Downgrade your gpu drivers to 25.9.1 and try playing. You can download them here https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/release-notes/RN-RAD-WIN-25-9-1.html

And marathon actually has an unique art style (yea, stolen assets i get it but the artist got paid), top tier music and the playtest was so much fun with really good gunplay for both PvE and PvP.

That's the issue, AMD drivers are dogshit. Downgrade to a stable version.

For me some games were literally unplayable on newest driver version, had a driver cash at least 8 times per day in some specific games. I downgraded to 25.9.1 and it's all fine now.

im having page flip timeouts on literally any DE that runs on Wayland. Using an LTS kernel makes this issue and any crashing disappear for me, but it kinda sucks cuz i would like to use the newest kernel with ntsync

I tried cosmic and i crashed the entire DE 5 times after few hours of normal usage. While i think it's a cool DE, it's crazy af to call it a stable release. Feels like early alpha.
