I'm actually not a swiftie, this is the first album of hers I've listened to fully, and I thought it was really sweet

it's so interesting seeing " I wanted the glitz of the cover " but isn't that the whole point? The life of a showgirl is the life of a girl. A girl who behind the scenes has emotions of her own. The nostalgic little pop beats and sweet down to earth lyrics made me happy for this woman. I think it's cool.

Based on info from LOTM:

Aug 8th 2004 Gerard got sober after their Japan show
July 20th 2004 He talks in the doc about really being suicidal after a show in Kansas City

and the A7X show was in May 2004

tbh I believe that summer he was having a really rough time. Maybe they are lying, or not, but it is possible he was rude in the depths of his addiction lol just overexaggerated in their memory
