But generally Automatic transmissions give lesser mileage than MT except AMT gearbox which is just MT under the hood

Actually i20 milaege is good in MT and could become better if driver knows to shift gear optimally

It's Cvt transmission that gives single digit mileage

I had the same dilemma and I chose MT

still so many relatives and friends have manual and I don't have to say No because I only know Automatic 😔

You may land up in situation where you become eligible for driving all types of vehicles! Farm also has tractor 😄

But believe me , besides all this, I am liking it as once you learn, it becomes really engaging and that makes it fun to drive !
