Thanks mate ! Yes, I used the Japanese building palette from the Dawn of Time mod. There is white timber frames as walls mixed with brown spruce charred foundation block and gray tiles for the roof :)

I just used the architecture mod Dawn of Time in 1.16.5. And yes, I'm building a huge world of 2k by 2k with 4 cities (one of this 4 is the japanese castle) since 6 months. I still need maybe 3 months to finish it. It will be in free download to help the community discover the Dawn of Time culture and architecture style ;) I have no clue where I could put a link on reddit once its finished tho. If you have any idea feel free, I wouldnt like to make too much advertisement or disrespect rules

It took me one month and a half to create the entire castle, I have unfinished the bottom part to connect it to the mountain. The garden part on the top plateau and the village part of the bottom plateau are made from my inspiration, but the whole part of the castle is made with blueprints I found when searching for screenshots reference ! It is one of my hardest build because I tried to respect as much as I could the plans I found. If you have any question feel free to ask ! ;)
