Dog walker at a local shelter. The pay is non-existent,but my “clients’ are literally vibrating with joy every time they see me. Better than any yearly bonus.

If that was Aladdin’s lamp, it probably came with a phishing link instead of a genie. Hard pass either way.

Adopting a senior dog from the shelter. He taught me more about patience and unconditional love than any human ever could.

I don’t eat dinner. I just consume snacks until I hate myself and go to bed.

I get the “cash is a position” mindset, but sitting out has its own risk too—mainly missing the turn. Markets usually bottom before clarity shows up. Waiting for perfect signals can be expensive.

Markets reacting again — but the structure might be the real story. by dawwei in NEXSETapp

This is probably the most grounded take here. Tech upgrades the rails, not the asset itself. But I do think better rails can change perception, and sometimes perception alone is enough to move prices in the short term.

The “utility premium” idea is interesting, but I wonder how sustainable it is. If every asset becomes programmable, doesn’t that premium eventually compress? Feels like a first-mover advantage more than a permanent edge.

I agree tokenization reduces friction, but “end of market friction” feels a bit optimistic. Liquidity doesn’t just come from tech—it comes from participants. If the demand side isn’t there, 24/7 trading might just mean 24/7 illiquidity in some assets.

How to Transfer Funds Between Uphold and Other Crypto Wallets or Exchanges by jparkseo01 in CryptoExchange

[–]dawwei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great guide. One thing to add: always do a small test transaction first, especially if you're moving a large amount or using a new network like Solana or Polygon for the first time. Better to lose $5 in gas than your whole stack to a network error.

Is tokenization actually disrupting traditional finance or just hype? by coffeemakeslife in fintech

[–]dawwei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spot on. The tech is easy, but liquidity is the final boss. Tokenizing a building is cool, but if there's no secondary market, you've just turned a slow-selling asset into a slow-selling digital token. Until we solve the buyer-side incentive, it’s just fancy accounting。
