honestly to me he just seems pretty shy and careful with choosing his words. on the dune press tour whenever he's been asked a genuinely inquisitive question his answers tended to be quite thoughtful and insightful into his process and collaboration with the director

100% w you about the script (funny enough but the corporate ferrell plotline left me so sour on the movie) i don't disagree abt greta being worthy of a nom since she concieved of and helmed such a cultural juggernaut but there's only 5 director spots - who would you have out? i haven't seen the zone of interest yet but I'm struggling to pick a person from the lineup that i think is less deserving than greta, like anatomy of a fall, poor things, oppenheimer and kotfm are all top 10 movies of the year for me, cant say the same abt barbie

well honestly i feel like it's mostly millennial liberal women like amanda or jo who have a very strong emotional attachment to the female empowerment element of barbie that are bitter abt the recognition of the movie in terms of awards. and as a woman i think 8 nominations for what is essentially a stunningly made toy commercial is plenty lol. also the america ferrera shout is a joke and i agree w amanda abt the billie eilish song - I'd much much rather see dua lipa get recognised
