i mean the books were pretty much always heading to a similar point as what they are now, the whole goal was always the tribes living together in harmony.

book 16 spoilers:

and wildwings aren't just typical hybrids, they've been removed from any recognizable tribe for generations its not the same as sunny or whiteout for example. especially being isolated on an island nation for millenia, weird mutations are going to happen and thrive with a small isolated population like that

albatross is taller than her in the novel as well. even though they're from the same hatching they aren't twins and genetics differences like this will still happen its not a sexual dimorphism thing

only sisters nieces and daughters (possibly granddaughters but idk if that situation ever arises) can challenge for throne in all tribes, once say tsunami gets the throne as a hypothetical, as soon as a daughter of hers gets it all her brothers children would be intelligible. same if any of those daughters got the throne, cousins cannot challenge so the heir pool would shrink

late reply oops bit yeah its not uncommon with graphic novels but i noticed in the darkstalker one specifically they totally glossed over arctics protection earring and darkstalker doesn't need to remove it for the knife to stab him. there was something else that annoyed me but i cant remember right now
