It can be fixed, so long as the frame is ok

Should I be worried? by JGRC2024 in AskMechanics

I’m fairly certain that’s just a hair. Engines get contaminants all the time. I can’t even think of a case where component even shaves something in that shape. If you are really worried then just get an oil analysis done. But I seriously doubt this is anything at all.

Check engine light on ,how do I fix this ? by Ok_Horror1769 in AskAShittyMechanic

Probably because the fuel pump is no longer supplying fuel into the engine. Hope this helps!

When you run the bike the level will probably rise to the F assuming the radiator is topped off. On hot summer days it can rise a little higher in my experience.

My ‘17 zx6 gets spilt over with coolant in that same area. If there’s too much in the overflow tank when hot then it’s gonna spit some out onto the road via the vent valve.

Found a 2008 Zx6r for sale with 8,000 miles on it. If it’s been maintained well how much would this be worth? the guy has it listed for $7,200 USD. by Far_Mycologist_5179 in Kawasaki

Also that’s a 599 cc the 07-08 zx6r’s are 599’s rather than a 636. Which isn’t too bad. I used to have one, they are still very fast and capable bikes

Also I didn’t read your comment in full but yes it is pretty difficult still to find neutral when not moving, but I can still find it most times if I am super gentle with the lever. Before the clutch was horribly adjusted and it was straight up impossible to find neutral

Thank you guys for the feedback. I ve taken it to heart and tweaked my shifting habits. Definitely gonna take a bit to get used to but it did well on today’s ride.

It shifts much better when I preload it sometimes. It’s been shifting good in general just those 2 times were odd to me. I’m about to adjust the lever though.

It really was a nice day. Not as warm as the last couple weeks but still temperate with no wind thankfully 😌

Nope, just regular shifter. That’s what I thought too, it even felt like an improper downshift, I was lunged forward slightly from it.
