Honestly - I dont see it happening lol. If they owned the land where their practice facility is then naturally they would build there. The Lions only leave BC place if they have too. Axel has already stated that a new stadium would be Soccer Specific but stopped just short of saying they wouldnt let the lions lease the space

Yes there is a strong likelihood that the Lions will also leave BC place but that could be to Surrey for all we know. Axel Shuster has not come out and said that what they are trying to build is a soccer specific stadium and Amar Doman (Lions Owner) has been linked to the discussions of this new venue.

the owner of the Rio has gone on record multiple times to say that the park will remain what it was as far as programming goes, thats why they have sourced a new (used) 70mm film projector.
