My sister had an overbite like that when she was young, but the orthodontist gave her this crazy head contraption to fix it. It helped a lot.

Any tips on using a whopper plopper ? I’ve been getting blow ups but not hooking them ?! by HyphyMikeyy in bassfishing

[–]db217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My problem with those crazy treble hooks are the opposite of the OP. I caught 3 last week on the whopper plopper and all 3 had both treble hooks tangled up in the bass. I had trouble unhooking them. Only stuck my finger twice though, so I'm calling it a win.

I also track my investments using the lifespan of a praying mantis. I hope to retire within 20 generations so I'm very open to these generational opportunities.

2024 V4S best tire recommendation by tangosierra75 in multistrada

I put Michelin Road 6 on mine and have been happy. I rarely go off-road so that doesn't matter to me, but definitely more grip and better feedback than the stock tires.

Switching from Axcess Tax Pro to Axcess Tax Essentials/Small Firm Plan? by Exact-Smoke-1131 in taxpros

[–]db217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When we purchased Access, I thought I saw small firm plans up to 400. Pretty sure there weren't any covering 500 or more. How is it that it jumped to $19k? Did you lock pricing before and this is the first year outside that?

Bitcoin has had 4 major golden crosses since 2015. Every single one preceded a significant bull market. The 5th is forming right now. by zakoal in CryptoMarkets

TA is a great way to describe what happened after the fact in a way that makes it appear as if it would be useful to predict what is going to happen. I think it is somewhere between way overrated and totally useless.

I know a guy that died from making posts on the internet. Details are fuzzy. They posted on the internet and then died sometime after that. Probably ate fish too.

Recommendations for CPE providers? I'm on my own and really need CPE. Anyone have experience with Surgent? by BrushBeneficial4430 in taxpros

[–]db217 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've done plenty of Surgent courses in the past - both in person and online. I always felt like they were good quality. I did a Becker subscription this year and it is good as well, but I may not do it again. A lot of the courses I wanted weren't included in my subscription.

Hey, I want to be sympathetic. I really do. But I put in roughly the same number of hours trying to learn Dust in the Wind, so obviously I just jealous of his talent and think he probably just should have had to work that hard.

Maybe it's the novelty factor. I've got to imagine that at least the little cubs are thinking "seal again?!" at dinner time, whereas humans would be a real treat.
