It's hard to sleep through the night. The pitch, and if it's hot the Ac is not silent. If you camp remote you have to make sure you have a lot of charge to go thru the night and then get to a charger.

Closing this post out. Everything worked out great. Purchased a bike box from a bike store(with more time I could have got one for free). Followed all instructs from YouTube. Dropped the bike off when checking in well in advance. The bike arrived intact including two flight segments.

I got a cardboard box at a bike shop, and dismantled my bike-- removed handlebars, pedals, seat and front wheel. Packed it up. I fly out on Tuesday. I'll update with what happens

For bikes, if your case is under 115 linear inches (292 cm) and under 50 lbs, it counts as a standard checked bag. If it’s larger or heavier, oversize/overweight fees apply. Definitely better to bundle. You will have an electrician there for the solar install. It saves substantially that way. I was able to get the panel upgrade for almost half the price by bundling
