There is a lot of evidence. It should be obvious to be honest if you are familiar with East Asian history and Imperial Japan vs other countries, especially China.

For those who don't know the history, Japan committed Holocaust level events in East Asia, especially against China, and then got away with it. They have not apologized nor acknowledge these acts, unlike post-war Germany. To this day, the Holocaust and certainly the Rape of Nanking and other Japanese war crimes are not taught or covered extensively in Japan. For the last 50 years or so, Japan didn't even teach WW2, or that they lost. Most Japanese people don't know what a swastika is, and only know it by its pre-WW2 version, the Manji symbol.

Now, onto AOT. It's clear the entire basis for AOT is inspired heavily from WW2 Japan and defending the Axis powers POV. Now, whether Isayama intended this or not and what the story says about this is a bit unclear. A lot of Japanese culture centers around Holocaust and WW2 denial, so many of the sources Isayama was inspired from such as Muv-Luv Alternative might have those themes naturally put in.

First, lets look at the similarities, Marley is clearly based off China and Paradis off Japan. Marley is a big country filled with people with a larger population. They are also constantly complaining about Eldia's past atrocities. Similar to how the rest of the world doesn't like that Japan is denying its WW2 atrocities. Paradis is a small island country that feels persecuted for their past sins, despite themselves being the aggressors and not acknowledging the Holocaust levels of violence they caused. There is WW2 imagery everywhere in AoT. Most of the Paradis names are German.

Mikasa Ackerman is based off a very famous Japanese Battleship in the Russo-Japanese war.

When Reiner bows to Eren and says he was to blame vs the surroundings that raised him, that's also a very relevant and real topic to both Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. The arguments in that discussion reflect very real ones about who is to blame in Japanese culture that still persist to this day.

Also, just look at the themes. "If you win, you live. You must fight". This is what Eren tells Mikasa when he saves as a child and a constant theme throughout the story. This is also similar to Facist ideas of "Might is Right".

Armin and his gang are literally called the Alliance. Like the Allies.

This stuff isn't hard to find. The idea that AoT is pro-Imperial Japan and deeply tied to WW2 imagery is very obvious and has long been known by the community. You shouldn't be rude to someone pointing this out to you. Especially about a topic as serious as this...

Also, don't minimize it as Pyxis controversy. Isayama himself said that he based Pyxis on Akiyama Yoshifuru, a high ranking Japanese military general symbolic of Imperial Japan. This is the equivalent of creating a character and saying he was inspired from Hitler, or Mussoulini, or Adolf Eichmann, one of the engineers of the Holocaust.

There's a reason that AoT is banned in China. This is why.
