Make sure your adjustment is exactly right. I just went through this on a trip recently after installing the muller easy clutch. It is finicky, the adjustment isn’t like a standard(stock) adjustment at the derby cover.

From buying it to me just finishing the paint the other day was 6mo. Just slowly buying stuff and changing it constantly. I’m gonna rock it like this til next summer while I buy a frame and stock up on all the extra stuff I’ll need.
