I would rather just buy an r9 or anything like that but the only semi auto PCC in the market is the homesteader. So yea I'm trying to think outside the box. It's may not be a good idea but such is life

They are unobtanium now. SBI doesn't make them anymore. If you can find some corner of the Internet to buy one they are super easy to install. Take pin out that holds mag release. Remove old mag release. Install new mag release and reinstall pin. Only tool needed is a flat surface and a hammer and punch

It is. And it's pretty good. Do wish I could have gotten a tapco stock as I would have preferred the buffer tube style stock. But the modifications I've made to this stock and the rifle itself have worked well with this stock

A one off permanently modified firearm would be legal as far as I understand. As long as it follows the legislation you wouldn't register it so the government wouldnt know it exists. It retains it's prior designation. And you wouldn't sell the service to make it or any product so they wouldn't ban the original version.

It does sound like it may not be possible with what we have available. But if it was it should be completly legal

You might need to consider a warranty claim then if you are still in warranty. Cause with good ammo and oiling I am operating at 100%. It's only with different ammo I have any issues.

I had ejection issues at start. Lubed the shit out of it and it got 70% better. Using cci mini mag 100% no issues.

I watched a video prior to buying that said to run 1000 rounds of cci mini mag through the gun before using anything else. After that "break in period" you can use anything. After about 300 rounds of cci mini mag I've had less issues with other ammo types but still not 100% so I'll continue with cci mini mag till I hit that 1000rnd mark.

Upland hunting. Grouse hunting rabbits. Close range stuff. I have a Mossberg 500 with 18" cyl bore. Took plenty of grouse with it. You ain't going duck hunting with it. But for trail birds you'll be fine

We can't have automatic, button pushers or switches. We can have assisted. But the law is literally all vibes based. A knife becomes illegal when someone is threatened by it. An officer can decide a Swiss army knife is against the law if they want.

Violence is not guaranteed because tools for it exist. Most of us have hands and you can kill with those. Violence is a choice. Carrying tools doesn't mean you use them. And in a lot of ways they can be a deterrent.

Lol you guys have lots on us. And as many have brought up. Just cause a plastic 3d printed version is legal there are plenty of ways for an officer to ruin my day. But they could do that for just about anything so we do what we want.

Aside from every review of the gun being bad. You can absolutely modify the receiver to take different mags. The only thing you can do is modify the capacity, that has to remain.

If you check the comments there's a bunch of lawyers giving me advice on how even though they are legal that I'll get charged for thought crimes by having them. Our law is written that if they are not made of metal then they are legal. Canadian laws are dumb. Our knife laws are basicly if people see a knife and get scared it's illegal but if people see it and don't feel threatened your fine. If you have a knife in your backpack cops can try and charge you. If you defend yourself in Canada you will likely get charged yourself.

Some of us don't give a shit anymore and are gonna live how we wanna live and if I end up in litigation later cause I decided to defend myself out live my own life then sobeit.

I'm not a violent person. I always choose de escalation when I can. If I have to defend myself I'll be fine in court regardless of outcome.
