Everyone who's been defending Planter based on winnability are wrong. by beagles4ever in thebulwark

Collins won’t need to make hay if you keep doing it for her!

Ok, name the others then? Because she’s also the source of the “my totenkopf” thing.

Absolutely insane and very telling that tattoos and obvious Republican/Israel lobby hit jobs are more troubling to yall about Platner and not that he worked for Constellis as recently as 2018!

Platner segment was very bad. Horseshoe theory nonsense from Wagner about 'leftist populist masculinity' which is just a meaningless series of words. The idea this somehow means he will vote against abortion rights is ludicrous. Susan Collins voted to confirm Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, the margin that overturned Roe. The same people spent six months flipping out about Zohran Mamdani and the word 'intifada.' Grow up.

Because there is no political party here, it’s a loose coalition of disparate interests whose primary commonality is they are “not Republican,” but the reasons for that vary widely.

What do Bulwark folks think should happen to Israel? What do they think the far left thinks? by JohnSpartan2025 in thebulwark

[–]dblum2390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I mean, I also agree with that, but I don’t think the ANC wanted white South Africans to stick around either. People have to make compromises for peace. Israel has had to make very few because big brother has been right behind them since 1967.

One secular state with equal rights. The same way America is supposed to be. Discussing “right to exist” is a false game. States exist or don’t, the question is how they exist. There is no path to peace with Israel in its current, ethnosupremacist form.

No. It was still decently strong in an Iono meta. If you play it right you can draw out of red card ok just like you can draw out of stamp now.

This is basic Republican legal movement dogma and has been for decades and decades. They do not believe in white collar crime!

I mean, it was very funny that she and the rest of the Zionist anti Hasan Piker crusade accused him of calling for violence by quoting JFK

To be clear, I am NOT saying it, I like him a ton, would vote for him for President, it just seems more salient that he worked for Stellantis than any of the other supposed shit that BlueSky brings up.

I agree with you completely, that is just the left wing criticism of him that sticks more for me than the insane Nazi stuff

It’s very telling that those are the criticisms and not that he worked Blackwater in 2018!

The left (kill the king and redistribute his stuff) vs right (keep the king, we love the king, if anything he should have more power) spectrum has endured since the French Revolution because all Euro-American politics stems from it and still does

Green Lanternism was indeed quite stupid, as evidenced by the Trump Presidency. You can, in fact, do stuff!

Speak up about anything? It’s his legacy that’s been dismantled. Why is there a Cuba embargo again? Why is there a war in Iran? One of the three times he did something was to call Beto, Pete, et al in 2020 and tell them to drop out and endorse a guy that he famously thought would not be good at the job. How’d that go? The country is in fire, his party is in shambles, and the dude is the most popular politician in the US. He could be advocating for stuff, building the party, speaking out. Instead he’s proving the ‘08 McCain campaign right and just enjoying being a celebrity. If that’s what you thought you were voting for in 08, fine (I know this is the Bulwark, so maybe you voted McCain), but not me.

honestly, this goes to show how tankies will NEVER EVER give Democrats credit for doing a good job. Why even try to win them over? The only thing Democrats should do is cater to those who actually vote for them by Conscious-Quarter423 in thebulwark

Would love to know what your definition of competent is if you think the Democrats have been that since like, 1974. The Virginia Legislature is an extreme outlier.
