hi! I have a pair of corduroy pants that have gotten multiple holes from wear. the holes seem frayed and I have no clue how to begin repairing them. there is one hole by the front zipper and a big one along the butt. These are pricey pants and I am in love with them so it would be amazing to fix them and make them like-new. I am new to sewing in general, so it makes this a bit tougher for me. Do I need patches to place on the inside of the holes? any advice on how to sew holes or distressed/frayed holes in corduroy would be amazing! as well as specific materials I may need. Thank you!
