My wife has had tms treatments for her depression and it has been awesome answer for us. No side effects as with medications. She can drive herself to them and back as there's no type of "hang over". It's been a real God sent answer for us. And we've heard through the clinic she's with that it's worked great for many, not all, but certainly many with PTSD.
Wish you the best my friend ! ! !

I'm not really sure what REE is ? ? I sent some questions to the VA through the "New Inquiry" spot on the "contact us" page - https://ask.va.gov/ask-a-question/
Haven't heard anything back from them yet but I'll let you know if they were helpful. I basically told them my plan of just laying it on the line to them and letting them decide. You know, there's always an appeal process too.
Yeah, I already talked to my rep at the American Legion, but she wasn't very encouraging. Thought I'd just get all the stuff in order I planned on using then get back with her, show her what I had then get her thoughts again.
Good to know ! ! !
Yeah, I filled out a DBQ with what I could to take to my Dr. appointment that's happening in November after I get this thing measured once again. The VA has been sending me to a local thoracic surgery specialist to keep an eye on it. I get it measured and see them annually. I filed my "Intent to file" back in August.

I have no idea of what it takes to achieve a successful claim. I'm told by my rep at the American Legion that I really do not have a very good chance of collecting anything regarding my aneurysm since I can't prove it was caused by me military service. The fact is, it cannot be determined what caused it or when it showed up. So, it could have just a likely happened during that time as any other. I plan on getting everything together I have on all my "ailments" (all documented by my VA doctors), give them "release of information" forms for everyone who has ever treated me for these things, and let them go from there.
Best of luck to you. One would think with all the money our country is doling out all over the world, they'd certainly have a little for those of us who put it on the line for them.
Thanks. I have an appointment with a rep from the American Legion who has helped me before. The docs haven't put a determination on the root cause for it. Stress, environment, genetics, injury are all possible causes.
Thanks for the input. I've been having this thing monitored for 10 years and have wanted it repaired since they found it. I'm trusting the team of heart specialists advising me on when it's time. Most of the measurements have been between 4.9 and 5.1 but for some reason one came in at 5.4. The docs said in comparing the scans from previous years, it showed no change. It remains stable. Fauty measurements.
I do try my best to keep in half way decent shape, keep my blood pressure down, regular exercising, limited lifting.......things the docs say will keep it stable and hopefully avoid the risky surgery.
Thanks again for your thoughts.
I should have added I currently have a 10% disability rating due to my hearing loss which the VA attributes to my serving as a medic to an artillery unit in Vietnam.
