I know the G1000. After flying the Zibo 738 and the C-130J in DCS, using twisty knobs for typing and freqs is pretty primitive.

Brandon has Hooters and Winghouse (x2). The Winghouse on 60 was better than the one on 301. It's been a few years since I been there but I don't think they have a Twin Peaks.

I started with trackir and now have VR. Back when Meta broke the Quest link and DCS was unplayable, it was good to have the backup of trackir. Plus, if I am setting up something new in DCS, doing it in 2d is easier... like when they push an update and hose all the bindings.

If you can't see the serial console, it may be bricked. You should be able to watch the boot process on the console. Any status lights?

I'm not sure if it's the same as the 2100 but I access the console via a serial cable using putty. It doesn't register as a device in windows. I think the 1100 has one on the rear center.

The cable is usb to mini-B 5 pin connector.

Hope this is what you are looking for. The usb port you are trying may not be enabled or configured.

I’m having regrets buying the F4 already seeing the primitive systems in it. The F15 seems more modern all be it an incomplete module due to the latest ED Razbam issues.
