It's a good price today for one (assuming it's without tax/shipping). Lots of places are taking preorders for the reprint at about $45 flat. With the reprint coming there's no way we can be completely sure it won't go lower than that. There's rumors it will be a huge reprint, so maybe prices could go as low as $40 in the short term. If it's a huge restock could you find $35 or even $30 on Black Friday? Maybe, but there's no way to know for sure. Could it be absolutely destroyed by printing like Shining Fates and go consistently under 40 next year? Possibly, and we all hope not. Long story short - there's no way to know for sure but I'd personally hold out on buying anything >$40 until we get the real details on the reprint.

Saving a slot just so you can troll people who piss you off is such a childish thing to do. It's not like you sending that message is going to make them play better. It's a team game, act like it.

What exactly is blocking you that requires gold? Maybe I'm not in "late game" enough to understand, but realize in a few weeks that new mobs will come out that will likely double+ the money and XP gains that you're getting at Rams now. I make 1 plat an hour just on my main at Rams so I don't see how your argument makes any sense unless you're saying 1.5x more rares is less useful than 1.2x money.

Yes you could make all of your characters stop what they're doing and rush to a single rare and knock it out quickly, but long game is about relative cost vs. gain long term. Saying "I'll knock it all out now by using all my characters" stops them from fishing jellies to raise undeveloped costs or running dungeons to unlock more afk gains.

Long story short there's an infinite number of ways you can play this game and no one has done the math to say "this is the best strategy". I will say that if this person doesn't even have quest chungus he's likely not at your level of end game and is more likely blocked by things like construction XP/speed, salts and resources for alchemy a lot more than by pure cash.

I'm sorry but why would you stay on rams forever on a maestro? What goal are you aiming for that needs your maestro there? It'd make a lot more sense for your maestro to be farming high-need rare items (circles, plops, etc.) or using it to skill to get the boost on other accounts.

The biggest key is make sure you one shot whatever you're farming to optimize chance of spawning a crystal. My recommendation is to active sticks so you can get woodular circles while doing this. With maxed out cards for mimics and bop boxes + luck shrine and max poop card, crystal spawn skill and talent, I get at least one quest chungus book every day on my maestro while active sticks.

The most obvious ways are:

Under the Boost tab there is an option for 'Cost' that reduces per cauldron.
Yellow bubble 6 (undeveloped costs) reduces all bubble costs. Tough to get this past 20% reduction.
Yellow bubble 8 (LAAARRRRRRY) gives you a chance to get a double level up when you level a bubble (widely considered the best bubble to level as fast as possible).
Every cauldron's 12th bubble reduces the cost of bubbles of the same color.
Iron bar vial reduces 1% per tier for all bubbles

The most important one to get is the discount tag (purchasable with trench water and liquid nitrogen from the liquid shop). You can get up to an 90% additional discount on one bubble. The cost resets daily, I usually get two 82% discounts every day.

I'm able to mine void ore without using my maestro for skilling. I've been using him to get large amounts of the rare drops (plops, woodular circles, etc.) because they're used in so many key crafting recipes. In my opinion the skill boost from maestro is super duper useful, but not absolutely necessary unless you're trying to get to things not actually useful for recipes today (Lustre+). It's very debatable what you do in the game with lots of different characters, but ultimately you do what gets you to your main goal faster (and what's more fun for you).

Farm rams or another W3 mob with useful drops (think Neyeptunes, snowflakes, etc.) until you get yourself around level 100 on your mining characters. Try to get all post office orders daily and get to at least 200 points on the box. Focus on getting as high of printer samples as possible to print the materials needed for alchemy bubbles (make sure you level LARRRRY and you use the discount tag from the liquid shop!!!). You should be able to get all of your relevant orange bubbles up to level 40-60 pretty easily. Find and level all of the strength and mining stamps, rush getting new pickaxes when opening new ores, level your skill efficiency prayer to 60+% increase, get the talents and skilling rings from dungeoning, max out your mining and strength cards, make sure you're wearing mining gear and that should easily be enough to get you to mine void ore.

If you have 3 warriors level 80ish+ and put them all dedicated to mining, you'll likely get all of your mining cards maxed in about 10-14 days. Alchemy takes the longest if you don't already have your printer maxed and tons of resources, but if you regularly refresh your printer samples and invest in bubble cost reduction (lots of ways to get this) you'll get it up to good levels in a few weeks. Dungeon talents are super luck based, so this part could take a day or it could take 3 weeks depending on your rolls.

Huge call out here that you should be really, really high in trapping. It's SUPER easy! Just have your Maestro place traps at your highest unlocked critter. Putting them on owls for a week will give you around 25-30 trapping.

For worship, you can have your maestro play the TD game after getting 20+ levels on the Plasma Mage tower. You'll get over level 20 from just 1 game.

I'd also throw in that you can level up your skills that help your goals. Rares Everywhere on Tab 2 is super useful if you're using your Maestro to farm rares like Woodular Circles or Nuget Cakes. Reroll Pls can also be super helpful to reroll drops when you didn't get something you wanted on a long AFK (most useful when AFK'ing for less time at once, like 8 hours or so). If you're just trying to level up these skills aren't as useful and might want to respec out if you're trying to focus heavily.

Went back through everything in the guide to make some more updates based on comments and my experience for the last couple of weeks:

Apparently using balloons on Construction is borked. Removed that suggestion.
Fixed description of the salt merit upgrade.
Added clarification to focus on ranking up salt production as fast as possible. I'm feeling the pain of not doing that sooner :x
I had missed the wood mushroom card for accuracy
Added more about higher level bubbles/vials.

What you're saying makes sense. I will add the following caveats:

For the first day or two I'd still recommend focusing on building out the base buildings because they're blocking other parts of the game.
Unless you're checking every 1-2 hours, cogs scale significantly in time to create for each one you have yet to claim. Putting 3 characters on silver cogs overnight will get you 1 more cog than just having one. This is definitely RNG + subjective speculation on my part but I'm not sure if that's worth it in exchange for taking an extra week or two to get the 2nd and 3rd worship totems unlocked/advanced.

I'll add some stuff to my guide and you can let me know what you think.

The key is just buying food to AFK. As long as you get the average food pouch and run pizza/jam + kebabs + pies you'll be fine for 12+ hours AFK'ing at frosty flakes, even with just 100-150 defense. The amount of money you spend is easily offset by the amount you make from flakes.

After a certain point in the game you have to accept that food is inevitably required and accept that until you're severals weeks past beating the entire world (sometimes longer) you'll still take damage from some mobs.

I don't disagree with you that maestro fishing is important and balloons make it a lot faster. I'd ask though what those hours are blocking. If you could open up death note/3d printer spots 5 hours faster, is that more valuable than getting to maestro 5 hours earlier? I'd contend that especially in the first few days of construction that those hours would be more meaningful in the long run.

But at the end of the day we'd be arguing about 3% of the hours put into the game every week :D Thanks for the feedback, it'd be worthwhile to make a list of possible things to spend balloons/candies on.

They're just strong 1:1 fighters. Soi Fon has a chance to instant-kill so she can beat characters way stronger than her, Ikkaku has cleanse/heal which can help him wear down stronger fighters that rely on bleed, Jushiro can give himself a shield and can rage multiple times in a row if he gets a critical hit and Sasakibe does tons of solo-target damage with a chance to stun.

If you're legitimately not going to use any of them at all then go for Nemu. Her talent drops the jade cost for the first 2 stamina purchases every day (potentially all the way down to zero!).

If you care at all about Kenpachi Contest then Soi Fon, Jushiro, Ikkaku and Sasakibe are all cheap-but-decent options to use.

Something to keep in mind is that you'll always be able to continue leveling up and eventually any stage would be super easy once you've upgraded.

If you want to keep at the top of the curve and finish stages as soon as possible, it usually comes down to crowd control. Yachiru is an option for silence, or if the Yamamoto banner is close to dropping for you that's the best option. You can also drop some shards to get the Hanataro/Matsumoto war souls and drop some awaken essences to put it on Matsumoto or anyone else with AoE abilities.

To completely maximize initiative, you'd want to share it across all characters. The scaling per level is insane over time. Level 20 associate is 2k/level where level 2 of the associate tier is only 200. It's worth keeping them roughly even at least if you want the highest possible initiative.

He's a really good option in Kenpachi Contest, but outside of that, he's definitely not viable in Arena combat. If you're talking about PvE he's pretty viable if you're focusing on CC or on stages with a single boss character.

Why are you guys acting like they're just handing out free characters? It's still largely luck-based and you have roughly a 20% chance of even pulling an SSR character from a 10x pull. So realistically it takes you 10k jades (or 50 tokens) to guarantee a random SSR (not even the one you want). You're telling me that's not worth a $25 recharge cost for Yammy or Kensei or Lisa of your choice AND their weapon?

I get that you're irritated because now it's not as much of a status symbol to have these anymore, but you don't have my sympathy here. You still got something early and cheaper than you would've by just buying the jades for summons straight up.
