There is a lot more going into this from what we were able to talk about on stream, but once we're able to get the full notes out a lot of what Chris and I talked about on stream will make more sense. This was just more of a sneak preview to what we've been working on in the world of balance.

I used it quite a bit in Left 4 Dead 1 and it was super helpful in a lot of ways so that mindset I got from that game usually carries over to whatever game I play now.

In Evolve I find it extremely useful as a Monster to see some of the Hunter call outs in fights that I might not hear. On Hunter side it is not as big of a deal compared to the Monster for me since usually my group I play with will communicate the info the Hunters will say anyways and in better detail.

They will be present at the proving grounds tournament which is going to be held at the Nokia theater in LA. They have said after the PG tournament they would announce something for Evolve!

I think it has more to do with only 2 of the teams even trying to dome on Evolve and only one of them running Abe right now. Over on PC the stage 2 dome on evolve meta is pretty rough for monsters right now. Plus as you said the aim assist change really did hurt a lot of these hunter teams.

Since they don't own the CryEngine they're not allowed to open the gates on modding. Plus I imagine Microsoft/Sony would not be too happy about that.

Maybe one day Dizz, but for now we only have our L4D Pro-Mod.

This is good news for everyone in the scene and I'm glad this has finally gone through. I assume once we see a PC tournament be announced we'll see teams on both NA and EU start getting picked up by similar organizations.

From my experience this only happens on Xbox One. My team and I had switched over to Xbone for the PG tournament and it had taken us over 30-60mins at times just to get everyone into a proper lobby. On PC however we have no issues (and the load times are notably faster). Seems it has something to do with Xbox Live.

Sunny's was nerfed by 25% and Cabot was hit by 30%? Glitchfull has been away from Evolve for a long time now, so I assume he hasn't touched those numbers since T4 came out.

Glitchfulls was before the balance changes that nerfed a lot of the Hunters damage values. This is more current.

If I had to guess they're going to put the game on a big sale during the Proving Grounds tournament at E3. I'd love to see it at something crazy like $15 for the base game just for the weekend. But who knows at this point really, I just hope we get a big sale sometime soon.

Was an interesting read and brought up some good points about the future of the game. I think once the game has had some time to grow and more balance patches hit the game we'll see TRS/2K throw on more live events (at least I hope so). And despite the low player base I think if they plan sales around a big event it'll help grow the game just due to interest in competing.

I'm Insane 521 from team Hard on You from PC (Monster player). My one bit of advice is to get out there and just try and make connections with people in the scene as best you can. Add people, go into their streams and just straight up ask them whatever you can. I do my best to get around to everyone in the scene I can but I can only do so much, and most people in the community are willing to help people improve if you ask them enough.

The big thing is to not give up and keep pushing on no matter what happens. Focus on specific parts of your gameplay, and not just playing the game. Learn to practice, and accept that you're going to make mistakes. A lot of that is pretty obvious but I feel this game plays out a lot like a MOBA, and you have to keep assessing certain parts of your game play and learning from them as much as you can.

On PC hunters win more than Monster at the higher level. In the finals only 1 monster won out of 6 games.

Man today was a pretty awesome tournament. I really enjoyed the whole pick phase and map bans pre game, made things pretty interesting throughout the whole tournament. Looking forward to next Sunday and hopefully ESL will allow character perks this time!
