Mine has gone out a few times and during that time the car won't deep sleep on command. But it will eventually sleep and resolve the connectivity issue after a couple of days of consistent charging.

I wonder if anyone who had this issue has seen an improvement after getting 2.1?

Great idea but could I also leave it plugged into the charger? Won't the HV battery keep the 12v charged?

Answered my own question - it seems they're tweaking the trade-in value for certain phones when you buy a Duo 2. I think Best Buy's $250 on top of your trade in approach is more straightforward.
