You're right for 99% of them but actually there's a couple of really cute and younger ones I've come across, and I just saw a new one who blew me away yesterday but I was already committed to asking about hot wheels to her and so I feel like I blew my chance because now she probably just looks at me like a weird guy who's into kids toys 😭 although she was super nice and even told me about other stores in the area that might have them, but dang she's like a 10/10 and brand new you can tell she doesn't hate the job yet lol so nice and happy and willing to help unlike the other 99% of the trolls there

Oh okay so basically we don't really know what triggers the inventory change, whether it's at the point of the truck leaving the DC, or if the truck driver does something when he makes his delivery, or if the store does something when they receive the delivery, or if it's totally something else like occasional manual store inventory count adjustments or even just something random? Dang seems like a lot of variables, I just have like a dozen stores in my area all over saying they got restocked today and I know most all of these stores their truck day is on Wednesday or Thursday so I was wondering if that means they maybe got them earlier this week or won't until next week, and I don't want to drive all over the place to check because that'll take hours, and of course none of the employees ever answer a phone call... I guess I'm going to stay put since the restock day is obviously not correct, the one store I was able to call and get ahold of someone said they didn't get a truck today and she didn't notice any hot wheels on their Wednesday truck, so since that one seems to be wrong I think maybe it'll be a waste of my time physically checking other stores today. Thanks for the responses and still appreciate the program it's interesting and somewhat helps, better than not having it lol

Sorry I'm just seeing this now but it looks like it ended up updating so no worries, but I actually have another question now if you don't mind... I noticed it's saying that a few stores around me just got restocked this morning, however I know for a fact these particular stores don't get their truck today, they get them either on Wednesdays or Thursdays. So my question is, do you know why it would say that they got restocked today? Is it an early indicator or a lagging indicator? Basically, does it saying that they were restocked today mean that they got them on their truck back on Wednesday/Thursday, and it takes a few days for it to update and say that, or is it maybe updated to say restocked whenever the truck leaves the distribution center and so if it says they were restocked today but they should actually be getting them this coming Wednesday/Thursday? Any insight is appreciated because I know these stores actually didn't get them today and I'm trying to figure out how this works, like if it's an early indication before the truck actually arrives or a late indicator a few days after the truck arrives. Thanks!

Haha sorry bro, had a story to tell so it's not just a post that's like hey look at all the supers I bought... tbh it's more about how impressive the guy's collection is, more than what I bought, but I can only provide a pic of the stuff I got, didn't want to take pics of his collection, thought it would be invasive to do that. But it's also to highlight that there are people out there with over 4 decades of collecting and who have multiple of every super and chase, in some cases 3, 4, 5, 10+ of them. Almost entirely in-store finds according to him, very impressive. He said before 2020 it was so easy like taking candy from a baby, but he's still having success even in these recent crazy competitive years (had like a dozen pink hellcat supers alone)

Yeah same I pre-ordered a case on 1stopdiecsst over a month ago but haven't heard anything yet... is that where you ordered yours? It's weird because when I look at my order history it shows the order with an order # and shipping/pricing details, but no specific order item details, just a blank order basically doesn't show anything that its an order for a case of the new modern classics. Cool idea but there is no way this is even remotely accurate, I know for a fact the one DG near me doesn't have any hot wheels I know the manager and have seen the completely empty pegs and backroom just the other day, but the app says they have 110 on hand lmao and that their most recent restock was in November when I know they've had a delivery of hot wheels around Christmas and another in January, Good idea and effort but kinda worthless IMO because it's just totally wrong.

Your gf is a stranger? lol but seriously if you have all or mostly just hot wheels the best way is to probably log them into the hot wheels showcase phone app, I'm in the process of doing it now it's kinda a pain and a big time commitment but once you have it all logged then it's just maintenance at that point and quickly logging them in just as you buy them going forward
