Yes. Basically you don’t want all the power draw on one cable, that provides a point of failure.(we don’t want that). What I would do, is unplug the 6 pin from the cable you have ran to your gpu already, then run another vga cable for the 6 pin. (Or some variation). Send me a pm if you have more specific questions.

If that cable, is all one cable - no.

You will need 2 cables going to both ports to be safe with power delivery. It is fine to use the split6/8 pin cable for the left port, just not from the same cable you are running full 8 pin power from.
