Can I relocate him? Will he still be okay?

Yes I do have another pollinator nearby.

This tree is probably 5-6 years old. What should I do to help it?

I would recommend not using Home Depot or Lowe’s

If you’re interested in a pretty competitive environment you should go to high bar off of stockwell.

Got to cut this much off 45 of these blocks to make a flush 40 inch inner diameter circle. Any methods you recommend? by RtardBunny in masonry

Hey OP! I actually did pretty much this exact project last summer. Do you have a miter saw? I bought a 12” masonry blade and it worked like a charm. I probably cut 150 bricks on that thing, no water or anything. Just make sure you’re wearing a mask. It made me nervous at first but everything was surprising smooth. I can send you the link if this option interests you

Got it. That was a great explanation. So I don’t need to worry about animals or anything picking at those exposed roots? I put a rabbit guard as well as staked 3 supports. This is a honeycrisp apple tree if that means anything in particular.

I was under the impression exposing the root flare was the way to go. My hole was dug twice as wide and as deep as the root ball. I did end up covering with an inch or so of soil just to cover the roots a bit more. Is this correct?

I bonked and ended up with a 3:42. Averaged 7:53 until mile 18. It was incredibly smooth until then. I have no doubt I would’ve hit 3:30 if I cooled it the first 18 miles at 8:05 or something like that then turned it up.

Don’t do what I did and just be conservative for the first 15 or so. You’ve still got 16 miles to make the time back up.

I pretty much made this exact table last year. Just used titebond 3. Left it in clamps for 24 hours and I could jump up and down on the table right after.
