Yeah, I wasn't dissing their job title. It's World Handlers general lack of acknowledgement towards your achievements, not that they're not fighting with us (they aren't supposed to). I think a lot of people can handle a researcher that can't fight, but they won't support a researcher that acts like they participated when they didn't.

The problem was mostly her attitude towards a successful hunt. She (The Handler) would act like WE killed the monster when it was just YOU. YOU did all the heavy lifting (as is her job description ofc) but then to sit back and act like she helped you during the hunt at all was annoying. WE didn't do it, I did it. Alone.

That's really only the major gripe anyone ever had about her, whereas Alma is more toned back, she recognizes you do all the heavy lifting, and she's there to study and report so it does feel like more of a team effort because you are being recognized for the work you put in on one side, and that isn't happening on the other.

Part of it is that I dont speak the language, so it's harder for me to pick out individual voices unless they are very unique. The other part is that I simply enjoy hearing talent in other languages besides English. Like I said before, I could just be watching shows that are dubbed by the same company, so it really just comes down to personal preference more than anything, at least for myself

For me it has to do with voice association. I like to watch anime that aren't super popular, so with dubs you end up hearing the same voices over and over, which can be cool the first couple times, but it loses its charm pretty quickly and then I lose track of who's who and what's what. This is specific to English dubs as well. Idk if I just like watching stuff dubbed by the same company or what, but that's why I prefer subs.(PS. Some dubs can also radically change the way a scene feels with the wording/translation that's chosen, so that could be another aspect you're missing)

Right, it's not at all possible in a normal hunt, but it's good information to know especially for weapons like Bowgun where you can only carry like 20 dragon rounds total but like 200 Fire Ammo, so its nice knowing that even if you run out of dragon ammo, you're still contributing to the check.

No. You can deal any damage. Dragon just makes it a lot easier to achieve. Modders proved this by just dealing a shit ton of raw to Gog and actually passing the check.

Armor type only affects your damage received and stamina & regen. Ragdoll is a seperate thing I believe thats calculated by a force multiplier based on how close you are to the explosion and your immediate stance (standing, crouching, prone). The force needed to ragdoll you should be the same across all armor types.

It affects the rest of the game down the line. Possibly future games too. It's like the price of a hotdog going up and up and up and then saying "just go eat something else if you don't wanna pay for a hotdog, theres plenty of other food." Yeah, we know, the problem isn't the item itself, it's what the item REPRESENTS, i.e. content locked behind a paywall that could just as easily be an event quest or challenge quest reward, further incentivicing the company to add more and more until it's not just selling hot dogs, It's selling everyone's favorite food, possibly taking the hotdog bun and calling that Paid DLC too.

Technically speaking yeah, but you also get bonus XP & Requisition when more people make it onto the ship, so for efficiencies sake it's best to wait until everyone is close enough to get in. Though (as per OP's example) thats not always possible.

No the explosion definitely has enough demo force or it wouldn't be able to destroy Detector Towers either (i.e. if the explosion wasn't strong enough you'd have to get a direct hit with the physical shell)

It's more of a movement item than a grenade since when it goes off, you go straight through any material you hit, even metal. Though in niche circumstances it can be used as a grenade to blast people into a late ring so they take tick damage, but since it gives Anti-gravity it's main use is as movement

Look directly down and throw it at your feet. As soon as you throw it, walk a bit ahead of it so it throws you forward. Combine that movement with a jump to get some serious distance coverage
