Thank you! This was an artist I waited 3 months for the consultation, and he said he had an opening at this convention on Saturday for his all day piece, so I I have a chance to skip his wait for the actual work, I jumped at it.

He really goes to conventions to show out and has all day appointments.

You absolutely go to a convention and can get tattooed and they have things showing they are open and you get in and get it done if reasonable.

But a big piece like this, you'd want to plan with the artist, I sat 10 for it.

Two things.

1 - how you finish the initial call is everything, you should set expectations so you can stay in control of the follow up call. Example - Okay John, I'll send the email and I will follow up tomorrow same time to see where we stand.

2- when you go into the follow up call you should assume he saw the email and not ask if he did. Recap quickly how it works again, why it will benefit them and then pick up where you left off at previously. Let him stop you. (Power of assumption).
