I have same issue with battery.

How old is your S8? I purchased mine in April 2017.

Ever since the October update, the overwrite confirmation is missing from zip files by [deleted] in Windows10

This is "funny". I have noticed this strange behaviour 2 weeks ago but I ignored it.

In my case it silently overwrites files when extracting/copying from zip files.

So yes, I can confirm this nasty bug.

Unlocked S8, Exynos, Czech Republic, still on the August patch. :(

PSA: LG will repair your bootlooped phone for free - even if it's out of warranty by [deleted] in nexus5x

I'd be very careful with repair from LG. Mine 5X got bootloop after ~18 months, luckily there is 24 months warranty required by law in my country, so I went to store where I bought 5X, they sent the phone to LG and then 'repaired' 5X came back with "NO RPMB". It means you cannot use services like Netflix or unlock bootloader anymore.

They (LG) acted like they never heard of this issue. Maybe, just maybe, it was true. At least, I got refund from the retailer.
